Traditional musicians Séamus and Caoimhe Uí Fhlatharta bring a programme steeped in living tradition, moving fluidly between Irish, Scottish, and further-flung influences. Highlights include the haunting Caoineadh na dTrí Mhuire, the lively Casadh an tSúgáin, and a spirited set pairing Drunken Sailor with tunes old and new. After the interval, familiar ground meets fresh discovery, from Scarborough Fair and Paul McCartney’s Blackbird to Scottish Gaelic song and Bill Whelan’s The Coast of Galicia. It’s a programme full of story, wit, and soul - a real celebration of traditional music.
This concert is supported by the County Wicklow EU Presidency Culture Programme.
