Pianists Fiachra Garvey and Mishka Rushdie Momen join forces for an evening that’s as intimate as it is thrilling. They open with Brahms’ Variations on a Theme by Robert Schumann - a warm, heartfelt tribute from one friend to another - before Schubert’s Fantasie in F minor casts its beautiful, brooding spell. After the interval, things turn playful with Debussy’s Petite Suite, before the two pianists dive into Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring, reworked for piano four hands and just as electrifying.
