Winter Weekend 13-15 November 2026 On Sale!

Join us for a magical Winter Weekend at the Manor House, Tulfarris from 13-15 November 2026!

The West Wicklow Festival is thrilled to unveil its Winter Weekend, offering a series of enchanting concerts from 13th to 15th November 2026. This seasonal edition of the festival will bring together world-class musicians for unforgettable performances in the luxurious Manor House at Tulfarris Hotel, promising a delightful experience for all music enthusiasts.

This year's weekend opens on Friday 13 November with pianists Fiachra Garvey and Mishka Rushdie Momen, who come together for an evening of four-hand brilliance - from the warmth of Brahms's Variations on a Theme by Robert Schumann to the elemental force of Stravinsky's The Rite of Spring.

The festival's Rising Stars Concert showcases oboist Ben Gannon and pianist Ellen Jansson in a wide-ranging programme taking in Messiaen, Boulanger, Saint-Saëns, and more - plus the world première of the winning work from the WWF Composition Competition, presented in partnership with the Contemporary Music Centre.

The Paddington Trio - Tuulia Hero, Patrick Moriarty and Stephanie Tang - bring To an Old Friend, a programme of three works shaped by loss and remembrance, including Shostakovich's and Tchaikovsky's piano trios, each written in memory of a close friend.

Traditional singers and instrumentalists Séamus and Caoimhe Uí Fhlatharta close out the festival with an afternoon of story, wit and soul, moving fluidly between Irish, Scottish and further-flung influences. The pair will also lead a workshop on sean-nós singing and arranging.
