Our Winter Weekend Rising Stars’ concert showcases Irish Chamber Brass, a quintet featuring some of Ireland’s very finest young brass musicians.
The home crowd is well represented too, with two Wicklow musicians - French horn player Peter Mullen and trumpeter Nathan McDonell - featuring in the line-up!
Irish Chamber Brass will perform a programme that includes the world premiere of the winning work from the West Wicklow Chamber Music Festival Composition Competition 2023, presented in partnership with Contemporary Music Centre, Ireland.
This concert will include an opportunity to hear more from the West Wicklow Chamber Music Festival Composition Competition 2023 winner, in an interview hosted by the Contemporary Music Centre, Ireland.
