Jisun Min is a violinist from South Korea. She acquired her preliminary Conservatory, Bachelors and Masters degree at the Korean University of Art, studying with violinist NamyunKim. She has won a number of national awards and competitions in Korea.

She was appointed as a concertmaster at a young age and expanded her experience on large stages in various concert halls, playing the complete symphonic works of Beethoven, Brahms and Tchaikovsky. She also gained huge experience playing contemporary and traditional Korean music, kpop, commercial, theatre, film music, opera, tango, jazz, gospel, not only in orchestral environments but also as part of chamber groups or solo. She enjoyed a thriving musical career in Korea for many years.

In 2019, she decided to study abroad in Ireland to focus more on Western Classical music and to experience new languages and new sounds. In the Royal Irish Academy of Music, she completed a Recital Artist Diploma with Distinction, professional mentorship and received bursaries every year. She also appeared as leader of the RIAM Symphonia for five years, and appeared as leader for two operatic works which were Irish Premieres. In Ireland, she studied with Fionnuala Hunt, Mia Cooper, Sarah Sew, Claire Duff and chamber music under pianist Peter Tuite.

She was the winner of the Dublin ChamberFest for four years running. She was awarded the Colin Staveley Memorial Medal at the Maura Dowdall Competition in Ireland. She has been a member of the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra, INO, RTÉCO, Wexford Festival Opera and BBC Ulster Orchestra and also played with Camerata Ireland. She keeps seeking new stages to play on, in Korea, Ireland and abroad. She would like to broaden her chamber repertoire and discover more beauty.

Since the age of 14, Jisun has been playing an Italian-American violin, which has a strong character, elegant shape and warm sounds, built by Frank J. Callier in 1920.

Pianist Dr Didzis Kalniņš, an accomplished performer, chamber musician, and educator, is making significant strides in his career. In 2023, he earned a Doctorate in Music Performance from the Royal Irish Academy of Music and Trinity College Dublin, elevating his expertise in the field.
